Effective Solutions for Bird Waste: Remove Bird Poo and Keep Your Property Clean

Cleaning External Areas of Pigeon Guano and Bird Dropping Removal

Our specialist cleaning process for external spaces affected by pigeon droppings and bird waste includes the following steps:

1. Conducting a detailed health and safety risk assessment to ensure all hazards are identified.
2. Selecting the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and access tools for safe cleaning service and removal service.
3. Inspecting the affected areas thoroughly, removing or isolating any nests with dependent birds, such as pigeon squabs.
4. Performing a thorough guano clean, ensuring all pigeon waste is cleaned and removed.
5. Applying branded ornithological disinfectants to eliminate bacteria and harmful organisms.
6. Ensuring the safe disposal of all hazardous waste, adhering to legal and environmental standards.

Cleaning Internal Areas (e.g., Roof Voids) of Pigeon Guano and Bird Droppings

For internal spaces such as roof voids, the process to remove pigeon poop is more intensive to ensure a safe and effective cleanup:

1. Conducting a health and safety risk assessment and identifying potential risks.
2. Selecting safety equipment tailored to the job, ranging from basic paper masks to full-face masks with breathing apparatus, disposable body suits with hoods, rubber gloves, goggles, and sturdy boots or wellingtons.
3. Inspecting the site to identify and remove any nests and dependent birds before starting the guano clearance.
4. Spraying a fine jet of water to reduce airborne dust during the pigeon droppings removal process.
5. Collecting and disposing of guano using specialised bags and authorised waste carriers for safe handling of hazardous waste.
6. Cleaning roof or the other area with hot, soapy water and applying a disinfectant to kill bacteria and organisms.

For long-term prevention, we can install pigeon proofing spikes to deter pigeons and other birds from returning to the cleaned area.
